Aztec Camera are basically where the neo-acoustic style of indiepop was born, and at least to me, they're the best the subgenre ever got. Nobody has ever made an acoustic guitar jangle better than Roddy Frame could, in my opinion. Their reputation pretty much entirely rests on the two Postcard singles and the debut, which happen to be the only things I've heard from Aztec Camera, but that alone is more than enough to make them one of the most influential bands in indiepop.
