I don't know what exactly is going on with Glasgow, but somehow they managed to end up producing arguably the two largest indiepop bands of them all in Camera Obscura and Belle and Sebastian. They don't sound a million miles off from each other, either, they're both operating in a chamber pop type of environment, though Camera Obscura typically feels a bit more polished to me. I wish I had more to say about them, but unfortunately they've always kind of been the big indiepop band that I don't care for too much aside from a few singles, embarrassingly enough (like, imagine a grunge fan who didn't like Pearl Jam).
