Citrus are super popular among all my friends who are deep into the Japanese indiepop scene, and it's pretty easy to see why even as someone who hasn't heard them all that much. They've got a whole lot going on in their discography; in just the handful of songs I've heard, you've got noise pop, you've got acoustic, you've got jazz, you've even got a bit of dance music (in a similar vein to Helen Love)! I'm not sure that I'm in love with them or in the process of falling in love with them, but they're always an interesting listen because you never really know what's gonna happen next.
