Their Bandcamp page will tell you that Dogwood Lung are from Bloomington, IN, but they'll always be an Auburn band to me. As someone who was a student there coinciding with their active period, Dogwood Lung is probably the band I've seen the most times in my life. From what I remember, they were sort of the go-to band for any show being organized in the area. Their music sort of reminds me of Rainer Maria, maybe? Primarily an emo band, but with more indie pop to their sound than most. Of course, I didn't appreciate their music nearly as much as I should have until well after I graduated. I probably listen them more now than I ever did when they were an active presence in my music-going life!
