Basically everything I've ever seen about the Eames Era more or less refers to them as the poor man's Rilo Kiley, and I'm not going to be an exception. You take away the alt-country influences from Take Offs and Landings, you make it a bit more twee, and you arrive at the Eames Era. Ashlin even sounds a bit like Jenny Lewis!
