In the second half of the 2010s, at least from my perspective, Frankie Cosmos was one of the biggest names in indiepop. I doubt that she was the originator of bedroom pop, but she was certainly a popularizer and my introduction to the style. She didn't really stick around in the style though; with each succeeding album she moved more and more into a conventional indie rock mode.
