The Freebies' Bandcamp page describes them as being "[i]nspired by jangle pop, 60's girl groups, and early punk", and that sounds just about right. And as any Vivian Girls fan knows, that combination is what all the best bands are inspired by. The Freebies don't have that same sound like they've been left out in the sun too long (really, Dolly Mixture is probably the more apt comparison), but they're still a delight!
