Grrrl Gang are arguably the most successful internationally of Indonesia's indiepop bands. After all, they've got an album released on Kill Rock Stars and they toured the United States earlier in 2026. They started off clearly on the indiepop side of power pop, but as they've grown as a band, they've been moving more and more towards harder-edged punk, I feel like? I was dumb enough to let that (and the fact that I don't care for the venue they were playing at) stop me from going to see them on that US tour, unfortunately, which I immediately found myself regretting the next day. If you get the chance, don't make the same mistake I did!
