I can be pretty stupid sometimes, you know? I knew about this band back in June 2024, listened to the split EP and thought "Commercial Plane Combat" was a great song, and then promptly forgot all about it. Now I've missed out on those early CDs! Worse still, as of the time of writing, they've announced a tour, and I won't be able to make it to the nearest show! Crass materialism aside, I really do think this band has a lot of potential. On the split EP, they're doing a rickety jangle poppish thing that isn't really original, but is still very charming. They get a bit less rickety on the later releases, for better or for worse (I've always been pro-rickety, myself), but they still sound like you'd expect from hearing they're a twee band. They're the type of band that particularly live or die based on the quality of the songwriting, and luckily for them, they've proven themselves capable of writing one of the best indiepop songs of the 2020s.
