Lotus Eaters are kind of a folk rock band that's sure to appeal to anyone who likes the folkier side of indiepop, or even just anyone who thinks it's cool how R.E.M. uses a mandolin on "Losing My Religion". They mostly do uptempo folk type stuff with a violin and a mandolin; in some places they sort of remind me of a wimpier (in a positive way!) Reivers. It's also unfortunately the case that a lot of their songs aren't easily available, so I'm hoping that Harriet Records will come in with a compilation to save us someday.
