Magic Lamp feel a bit like a meeker version of Rocketship. They're kinda dreamy and organ-dominant, though the organ isn't nearly as overpowering as on a typical Rocketship song. Elisabeth is a promising singer too, though unfortunately Magic Lamp's songs also aren't nearly as memorable as Rocketship's. It's too bad they only ever released the one cassette EP, because they could have really been something with time to grow.
