I got introduced to this band a few weeks ago, when a friend of mine played one of their songs on her radio show. At that time, they didn't have an album out yet, but as of the time of writing, they released their debut earlier this month so I can share them with everyone! They sort of manage to split the difference between a bunch of different styles of indiepop; for example, on my favorite song as of a first listen, "Skyscraper", the guitar sounds a bit like one of Heavenly's early songs, with the tempo of Talulah Gosh, plus a recorder or flute of some sort (I don't know my woodwinds) that sounds a bit like the Would-Be-Goods.
