The Receptionists have a pretty uncommon instrumental lineup, which prominently features accordion, xylophone, and penny whistle (if you're not familiar with this, imagine a recorder but made out of metal), along with guitar and mandolin. Once it's all put together, it ends up amateurish and vaguely medieval-sounding, and you'll probably listen to it so much your friends will probably think you've lost your mind.
