Just came across this band today and immediately fell in love, so I had to come and tell you all about it! As it turns out, it appears that Mercedes Oller is the only member to carry over from their debut album (which I've heard) to their later work (which I haven't yet), so I don't know how well this description holds up for their later albums? Anyway, they sound a lot like Vivian Girls, except maybe a bit less reverb on the vocals and with more noise on the guitars! Obviously, as a devotee of both Vivian Girls and noise, this is the absolutely perfect combination for me.
