Rocketship sometimes will get called shoegaze-adjacent or tweegaze or things like that, but it's really not true. They don't do that much with distortion, at least not the way I usually think of them sounding. Instead, they've got this really loud organ blaring over everything which I think is a lot of it. Overall they kind of sound like Stereolab's album Mars Audiac Quintet to me, except again, with a louder organ. Basically, if you really love the organ then this is the band for you, and if you don't then it's really not.
