Earlier this year I came across a year-end poll conducted by the label Disanorak for the Indonesian indiepop scene, and up at the top of nearly every category is the Sensitive. It took me a while to figure out who this band is and where they're from, but I eventually managed to find out that frontman (only member?) Tiok is also the founder of Disanorak. The Sensitive make music on a pretty small scale, from what I've heard it's mostly acoustic guitar and drum machine, one of those setups that can be sublime with the right artist, or totally forgettable with the wrong one. I haven't heard enough yet to know where my own thoughts on the Sensitive stand, but those in the know are pretty convinced that it's the former!
