From reading what I can about them, it sounds like this is the consensus pick within Indonesia for their indiepop scene's best band? (I saw that apparently Aggi has called themselves "the 2nd best pop group after Sharesprings", for example.) For a band that's been around for 20 years, they're not particularly prolific, with their first album only coming out in 2018, and a compilation of early songs in 2024 for a total of about 45 minutes of music. Luckily, here at Indiepop Atlas, we (it's literally just Sarah) have a lot of appreciation for a bite-sized discography. Musically, to me they sort of sound about halfway between The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and Belong? Like, a bit fuller and less meek than the former, but not nearly as Smashing Pumpkins as the latter. It's a pretty happy medium that makes it easy to hear why they get the love they do (even if I'd rank Aggi above them).
