Some indiepop bands seem to wish they could have been included on C86, other indiepop bands seem to wish they could have been included on the first Kill Rock Stars compilation. As for the Smashing Times, it seems like they wish they could have been included on Climb Aboard My Roundabout. They bill themselves as sounding like Television Personalities, and sure, I hear that a bit, but mostly I really hear that super-affected, whimsical Toytown psychedelia. I could see this band being fairly polarizing, it all depends on how much patience you have for faux-British storybook dreamworlds.
