This one's Rose Melberg's most prolific band, which means I feel vaguely embarrassed that I don't know them all that well. Rose and Jen both play guitar here, and it leads to a fairly ethereal, dreamy sound that's great for a lot of people but isn't quite my cup of tea. I saw them live on the tour for The Bed I Made and it was absolutely the quietest audience I'd ever seen; you could actually hear a pin drop in there! And really, that's exactly the audience that music like this truly deserves, not one where the crowd noise absolutely shatters the spell.
