Strawberry Generation feel a lot like they should be a Shelflife band and yet somehow, they're not? I'd say they're mostly jangle pop, but the songs drag a little bit in a dream pop way, and there's enough haze that no one would ever call them shoegaze, but it's clear that they listen to it. They're maybe a bit like the Autocollants, or if you'd prefer a more contemporary comparison, perhaps Star Tropics?
