From what I've read, Jeremy has spent a while drumming in other people's bands, and with Summer Sleeves, he's decided to lead a band of his own. Their earliest work is kinda folk rock, one of those ones that's not really acoustic but nevertheless sort of feels acoustic if that makes sense (it doesn't). Since then, they've been moving steadily into a harder power pop sound that feels a bit Teenage Fanclub to me (someone who basically only knows Teenage Fanclub when it comes to power pop of this type), but with prominent synth on their forthcoming album.
