For some reason, I've been having a lot of trouble for a while now trying to put how Time Thief sounds in words, but luckily it turns out their bio refers to their debut as "a record that doesn’t sound like it’s quite trying to be anything else other than what it is", which seems fitting enough for the band as a whole? Generally, I think they fit in really well with their contemporaries that I've been sort of referring to as "cuddlecore revival", such as Sleep Tight Tiger or Beachplums (both of which, not so coincidentally, are among their labelmates!)
