To my ears, Twin Bloom play power pop with a bit of shoegaze influence to the guitars. While listening to their debut EP, I was wracking my brain to figure out what one particular chorus was reminding me of, and I think I finally settled on the Smithereens? A bit more rock-oriented than I typically associate with indiepop, but they're certainly further towards the indiepop end of the spectrum than they are towards the end with someone like Cheap Trick or the Knack.
