I don't actually listen to this band all that much, though they're one of those bands who you'll always see getting listed as a "one album wonder" along the lines of Young Marble Giants and others of that ilk (their debut album didn't receive a very wide distribution). The main thing I think I remember reading about this band is that they broke up pretty quickly because everyone kind of hated everyone else? Anyway, they're one of those bands like Neutral Milk Hotel, where I think they get a bit of wider attention mostly as shorthand for the types of bands that annoying indie snobs listen to. So, they really kind of sound like a more playful version of whatever your preconceived notions of early 00s indie rock are, maybe?
