The Vapour Trails are sort of neo-psych in an indiepop way. Like, they're jangle pop, but instead of being jangle pop via the Smiths like most bands, it seems like they're jangle pop via the psychedelic rock of the 60s, similar to what the Paisley Underground bands were doing in the 1980s. I haven't yet had time to really listen to them, but from what I have heard they'd probably be right as home on that Children of Nuggets compilation I used to have.
