Contact

If you want to get in touch with me, whether it's to tell me about the cool new band you just found (or your own band, even!), or just because you're looking for a new indiepop nerd friend, there's a couple ways you can do that:

E-Mail

Obviously, the easiest way to tell me about your band is to send me an email at indiepopatlas@gmail.com! I've been doing a somewhat better job lately of actually reading my emails, so if you send something, rest assured that I will get to it when I have the time (usually the following weekend). If it's been a bit and I haven't gotten back to you, don't be afraid to remind me: I'm forgetful sometimes too! Or of course, if you're just in the mood to chat about music, we can totally do that too! One time I got an email from a friend of one of the first bands I put on the site, and it was so thoughtful that I still think about it whenever I'm updating the site.

Note to submitters: If you're submitting your own band, please put some personality into it; there's nothing that leaves me wanting to ignore emails more than something that looks like a form letter you sent to every site you could find. I'm here as a labor of love and as a way to connect with likeminded fans, I'm not trying to be the next Pitchfork or whatever.

Guestbook

If you're feeling old-school, you can leave a comment for me in the Guestbook! I don't really respond to anything I get there, but I can tell you that I've definitely had some particularly sweet comments that totally make my day!

Instagram

You can request to follow me on Instagram at @filmstarforaday. For obvious reasons, I won't promise that I'll accept every follow request I get but if you wanna give it a try you can. It'll definitely help your case if we've got a bunch of mutuals in common or if you couple your follow request with a kind, thoughtful message, though.
